Hannah Clatworthy
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hannah started her nursing career here at Milestone back in 2016, since then she has been to Hartpury University for four years and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse back in October 2019. Her interests include feline nursing and diagnostic imaging and hopes to further her studies into these in the future. Outside of work Hannah enjoys running and spending time with her friends, family and pet cat Elsa.

Ashton Winsor
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Ashton started her career at Milestone Vets as a Work Experience Student, she is now a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Ashton loves Labradors, she has one of her own. She also has an interest in dog behaviour which she would like to develop on.
She enjoys working with inpatients and ensuring that they are well cared for during their stay. She is a very bubbly character, and is a great member of the Milestone Crew.

Nichola Child
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Nichola has always had a passion to work with animals since childhood. At the age of 16 she started working within a veterinary practice. Nichola qualified as an RVN in Birmingham in 2006 and moved to Devon in 2008 where she met her husband, settled and has two beautiful children.
Nichola has completed a compassion understood course and is currently providing an end of life service to our clients. Her main areas of interest are patient care and theatre work.

Alex Bowhay
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Alex graduated in 2018 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse after studying at Nottingham Trent University. Alex lives in the area with her springer spaniel Bob, her cat Squidge and 3 chickens. Alex enjoys taking walks with her dog in the countryside and reading. She has a keen interest in wound management and hopes to develop her knowledge in this subject.

Anna Dalby
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Anna has been a vet nurse for 19 years, doing a variety of small, mixed and equine practice. She now specialises in Emergency and Critical Care and is doing nights for us. She is in the practice for inpatients and to assist with emergency call outs. She is currently working towards a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care.
In her spare time she is a supporter of Exeter Chiefs and has a variety of furry friends. The furry friends include a pony called Mylo, a hamster called Myrtle and a puppy called Tawny.

Hanna Blacklock
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hanna started at Milestone Vets as Work Experience in 2016 while studying Animal Nursing Assistant at South Devon College. Hanna then started working along side the Nursing team and Reception staff and has always been passionate about animal care. Has 2 rescue dogs and a Bearded Dragon at home. Hanna has just qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2022.

Danielle Charlton
Student Veterinary Nurse

Danielle joined the team at Milestone in July 2018 as a Veterinary Care Assistant. She is passionate about animals and animal nutrition and hopes to further her knowledge whilst in the position. At home she has 3 Rabbits named Inky, Blinky & Kirby and a rescue cat called Phoenix.

Lauren Palmer
Student Veterinary Nurse

Lauren started at Milestone vets in February 2019, previously she worked in coffee shops but would like to progress and is now a Student Veterinary Nurse. Lauren has got 2 pet gerbils, and is interested in learning about animal behaviour.
She has a achieved a Level 3 Animal Management and Level 2 Veterinary Care Assistant courses at South Devon College.

I am just finishing my second and final year studying the level 3 animal management diploma at South Devon College.
I am really excited about my new role as a veterinary care assistant at Milestone Veterinary practice. I have always had an interest in working with animals, for as long as I can remember and have always aimed to provide the best welfare for every animal. I am excited to continue my career path and gain further experience at Milestone veterinary practice. My ambition is to progress and train to become a veterinary nurse.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking care of my cat and dog at home, horse riding and spending time with my friends and family.

Alisha Harris
Veterinary Care Assistant

Alisha joined Milestone Veterinary Centre in 2022 after previously completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management at South Devon College and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Applied Animal Science at the University Centre of South Devon.
Her interests include animal behaviour and psychology.
She is extremely passionate about animals and has 2 Cats, 1 Bengal and 1 British Shorthair, a rescue Border Collie and a Crested Gecko.
